
State-run construction company NBCC India Ltd secured two project management consultancy (PMC) assignments with a combined value of ₹45.5 crore, driving the stock up 1.71% to ₹103.95 on the BSE. The company received a ₹39.99 crore order from Canara Bank for construction of a residential building at Plot No. 624/1617, Shimpoli Road, Borivali West, Mumbai. Additionally, NBCC secured a ₹5.51 crore PMC contract from the Resident Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, for upgradation of Bungalow No. 1, Janpath, the residence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Both contracts have been awarded by domestic entities and are not related-party transactions.
The Odisha project encompasses comprehensive infrastructure development across multiple sectors. As reported by CNBC TV18, the contract includes construction of regional veterinary hospitals, polyclinics, PCR rooms, diagnostic laboratories, veterinary dispensaries, sub-block veterinary dispensaries, livestock aid centres, livestock resource centres and administrative offices. This substantial contract demonstrates NBCC's capability to handle large-scale infrastructure projects across different states. The latest order details show that the ₹37.74 crore contract involves construction and expansion of veterinary hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, livestock aid centres, veterinary dispensaries, and related infrastructure across multiple districts in Odisha.
According to Business Standard, NBCC India reported consolidated net profit of ₹241.38 crore for Q4 FY26, representing a 37.22% jump from the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 1.81% to ₹4,559.79 crore compared to the same period last year. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) declined 3.4% to ₹287.3 crore from ₹297.3 crore a year ago, while EBITDA margin narrowed marginally to 6.3% from 6.4%. The company has demonstrated strong financial performance with a robust ₹1.3-lakh crore order book, positioning it well for sustained execution and revenue growth. Management has guided for FY27 consolidated revenue of about ₹18,000 crore and PAT of about ₹1,100 crore, indicating positive outlook for the company's growth trajectory.
