
Diagnostic chain Metropolis Healthcare Ltd delivered exceptional Q4 results with net profit surging 131.8% year-on-year to ₹51 crore compared to ₹22 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to reports from CNBC TV18. Revenue on a consolidated basis rose 23% year-on-year to ₹425 crore from ₹345 crore, while EBITDA increased 73.4% year-on-year to ₹108 crore from ₹62.3 crore. The company's EBITDA margins improved significantly to 25.4% from 18% in the same period last year, reflecting robust operational efficiencies and strong demand momentum.
Both business segments demonstrated strong performance with B2C revenues rising 20% year-on-year driven by higher adoption of preventive and specialised testing, stronger digital engagement and hyperlocal marketing initiatives, as reported by CNBC TV18. B2B revenues increased 28% year-on-year, supported by client retention, hospital outsourcing opportunities, stronger partner relationships and improved service reliability. The company's TruHealth portfolio grew 24% year-on-year, while the specialty portfolio increased 31% year-on-year, reflecting higher consumer preference for preventive healthcare and advanced diagnostics.
According to CNBC TV18, the company reported 11% year-on-year growth in patient volumes and 14% year-on-year increase in test volumes, supported by demand momentum, deeper market penetration and stronger clinician engagement. Revenue per patient (RPP) improved 11% year-on-year, while revenue per test (RPT) increased 8% year-on-year, supported by a favourable mix and higher contribution from specialised testing. The company crossed the milestone of 5,000+ centres, strengthening accessibility and market presence across India.
Metropolis Healthcare has declared a second interim dividend of ₹1 per equity share of face value ₹2 for the financial year 2025-26, with record date set as May 19, 2026 and payment within 30 days of declaration, as reported by CNBC TV18.
