
Mid-tier IT company Mastek Ltd reported mixed financial results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026. According to reports from Upstox, the company's net profit declined 2% quarter-on-quarter to ₹106.2 crore compared with ₹108.4 crore in the previous quarter. However, annually, profit surged 30.9% year-on-year from ₹81.1 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year. Despite the profit decline, revenue showed positive momentum with a 3.6% sequential increase to ₹938 crore from ₹905.7 crore in the December quarter of FY26. The sequential revenue growth was supported by a 24.4% YoY increase in Mastek's 12-month order backlog, with the company's UK business leading growth at 21.9% in INR terms for FY26, driven by strong healthcare segment growth of 95% YoY.
The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹16 per equity share of face value ₹5 for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. As reported by Upstox, the payout is subject to shareholders' approval at the company's 44th Annual General Meeting and will be paid within 30 days from the date of approval. The total dividend for FY26, including the interim dividend of ₹8 per share, stands at ₹24 per share or 480%, compared with ₹23 per share or 460% in the previous year. The record date for determining shareholders eligible for the dividend will be announced at a later stage.
According to Upstox, EBITDA (operating profit) stood at ₹150.7 crore for Q4 FY26, falling marginally QoQ from ₹152 crore in Q3 FY26 but growing 8.6% YoY from ₹138.8 crore in Q4 FY25. EBITDA margin contracted by 71 basis points QoQ to 16.1% from 16.8% in the previous quarter, though it expanded 75 basis points annually from 15.3% in the same period last year. The company added 12 new clients in Q4 FY26, bringing total active clients to 326, while maintaining its focus on AI-driven outcomes that helped deliver a 12% improvement in revenue per employee. Shares of Mastek Ltd closed 2.85% higher at ₹1,746 apiece on the National Stock Exchange ahead of the earnings announcement, with the company maintaining a total market capitalisation of ₹5,427.63 crore as of April 17, 2026.
