Marine Electricals India shares surged 9% to hit a 52-week high of ₹474.2 apiece on Monday, October 5, as the company secured four orders worth ₹393.52 crore. According to NSE data, as of October 5, 2026, Marine Electricals India has a total market capitalisation of ₹6,589.98 crore. The stock was trading at ₹471.5 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, jumping 8.01% at 11:35 AM. From the beginning of the year, Marine Electricals shares have skyrocketed 122%, with the stock rallying 12% over a month's time and 168% for a six-month period.
Among the four orders, one of them was from Web Werks (India) for the supply of a power distribution system, with delivery scheduled over 18-24 months. The second order was received from CtrlS Datacenters for MEP GC contract works for a period of 6-8 months. Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) awarded an order to the Marine Electricals, which includes electrical works of 7,500 DWT MPV, with delivery scheduled over 24-28 months. Lastly, Navayuga Engineering Company awarded an order for the supply of VTMS for Ramayapatnam Port Project, expected to be completed over four to seven months. As per the latest SEBI filing MEIL/SEC/2026-27/52 dated October 5, 2026, all orders are disclosed on an approximate basis, excluding applicable taxes.
This latest order win follows last month's achievement of three power distribution supply orders, including one from Digital Edge DC (India) Private Limited, a second from Socomec India Private Limited, and a third from STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited. According to reports, the company inaugurated its sixth manufacturing facility in Goa with a combined floor space of approximately 1,60,000 sq. ft. in September 2026. Starting its operations on September 14, 2026, the company estimates the facility will achieve its full manufacturing capacity of approximately 800 PTUs for data centres per year by March 2027.
The combined order value of approximately ₹393.52 crore adds to the company's executable order book across delivery windows ranging from 4 months to 28 months. Revenue recognition from these orders will be spread across multiple quarters, reducing the likelihood of any single-quarter revenue spike. The orders reflect client diversification across data centre operators, a public sector shipbuilder, and a port infrastructure contractor. India's data centre capacity has been expanding steadily, with industry body Nasscom and ICRA noting significant planned capital expenditure by hyperscale and co-location operators. Additionally, India's Sagarmala Programme and port modernisation initiatives continue to drive demand for port infrastructure systems, providing a steady pipeline of project opportunities for specialist electrical contractors.
