Radico Khaitan's Magic Moments Vodka has achieved a significant milestone by crossing 8 million cases in FY2025-26, representing a substantial increase from 7.1 million cases sold in the previous year. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine and ScanXNews, the New Delhi-based spirits company announced this achievement on March 18, highlighting the brand's continued dominance in India's vodka market. Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan described crossing the 8 million case mark as a proud milestone that indicates a defining shift in India's evolving spirits landscape, with the company strongly positioned to lead transformation in the category.
The brand currently holds approximately 60% of India's vodka market share and has achieved the distinction of ranking sixth among vodka brands globally in the previous year. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine and ScanXNews, this positioning reflects the brand's strong market presence and consumer acceptance across international markets. The achievement is particularly noteworthy given that vodka remains under-indexed in India at less than 4% of the spirits market, compared to 20-25% globally, indicating considerable room for category expansion.
The growth trajectory has been supported by Radico Khaitan's 'Flavours of India' range, with the recently launched Jamun SpicyMint variant reporting strong consumer demand. According to ScanXNews, the brand's remarkable growth has been fueled by strategic product innovations, particularly the 'Flavours of India' range that celebrates iconic Indian tastes through contemporary vodka expressions. Earlier flavours including Alphonso Mango and Thandaai have also maintained consistent consumer interest, demonstrating the brand's successful innovation strategy and consumer-centric approach.
Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan highlighted a significant structural opportunity, noting that while vodka commands 20-25% of the global spirits market, it accounts for under 4% in India, indicating substantial room for category expansion. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, this assessment underscores the substantial growth potential in India's vodka segment, with the company's ambition to make Magic Moments one of the leading vodka brands globally, driven by innovations that bring bold, distinctly Indian flavours to the forefront of the category.
