As a result of this divestment, Lumax Jopp Allied Technologies has ceased to be a joint venture of Lumax Auto Technologies with effect from 29 June 2026. This represents a complete exit from the joint venture structure that was previously in place between the two companies, as reported by Business Standard.
The divestment involves the complete transfer of Lumax Auto Technologies' 50% equity share capital in the joint venture to Jopp Holding GmbH, Germany. According to the report, this transaction represents a full exit from the partnership structure that was established between the two companies, with Jopp Holding GmbH now becoming the sole owner of the joint venture entity.
