
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited announced the opening of its 85-room property in Bharuch on Thursday (August 20), marking the hospitality chain's twelfth operational hotel in Gujarat. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the property is operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The hotel is strategically located on the banks of the Narmada River and positioned as a commercial and industrial hub with connectivity to major cities including Ankleshwar, Dahej, Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad, Vapi and Valsad. As reported by The Economic Times, this launch represents Lemon Tree's latest push into Gujarat's industrial corridor.
The Bharuch location offers significant connectivity advantages, with Surat Airport located approximately 75 km away and Vadodara Airport about 70 km away. The hotel serves as a gateway to religious and tourist sites including Kabirvad and the Statue of Unity, enhancing its appeal for both business and leisure travelers. With the Bharuch launch, Lemon Tree's operational count in Gujarat has reached 12 hotels. However, the company's consolidated net profit increased to ₹46.03 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to ₹38.33 crore in Q1 FY26, while revenue from operations rose 9.13% YoY to ₹344.61 crore in Q1 FY27.
