Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited shares surged nearly 13% during Thursday's intraday trading session, reaching ₹151.25 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of ₹1,633.83 crore. According to reports from Mint, the rally came as the overall market sentiment remained muted on September 10. The stock had touched an intraday high of ₹159.90 and a low of ₹138.25 during the session. However, the recent surge follows a challenging period, with the stock declining close to 26% since the beginning of this year and around 73% in one year.
The bullish momentum behind Kothari Industrial Corporation was driven by multiple order wins that lifted investor sentiment. As reported by Bonanza, the company's disclosed order book has crossed ₹35 crore following recent contract announcements. On September 3, the company announced securing two orders related to serving breakfast under the PerunthalaivarKananjar Morning Breakfast Scheme for school children, receiving a Letter of Acceptance for food services. The diversified Chennai-based conglomerate had previously secured ₹14.5 crore from Indian Railways' Integral Coach Factory and Tamil Nadu municipalities, followed by ₹5.35 crore and ₹4.15 crore breakfast-scheme contracts.
The company has demonstrated strong financial recovery with consolidated net sales reaching ₹44.52 crore in March 2026, representing a 68.65% year-on-year growth. According to latest financial reports, the standalone net sales for December 2025 stood at ₹50.61 crore, up 101.75% Y-o-Y, while June 2025 standalone net sales were ₹39.20 crore, up 191.55% Y-o-Y. This significant improvement in revenue performance indicates the company's operational efficiency and market recovery across its diversified business segments.
According to Bonanza technical analysis, Kothari Industrial Corporation has shown a strong reversal from ₹130–135 support with a sharp volume-backed breakout above short-term EMAs. The RSI has improved above 55, confirming momentum. Fresh entry can be considered near ₹150–153 with a stop loss at ₹140 and targets of ₹170–180, while ₹160 acts as immediate resistance. However, analysts warn that the rally sits against a widened ₹31-crore net loss and auditor qualifications on unverified balances, keeping risk-reward finely balanced.
