Jyoti Structures Limited has expanded its international power transmission portfolio by signing a joint venture contract with Hayleys Fentons Limited for the construction of the Mannar–Mullikulam 220kV Double Circuit Transmission Line in Sri Lanka. According to reports from Business Standard, the contract has been awarded by the newly established National Transmission Network Service Provider (Private) Limited (NTNSP) under the Mullikulam Wind Power Transmission Project. The partnership combines Jyoti Structures's expertise in high-voltage transmission infrastructure with Hayleys Fentons' local market knowledge to deliver this cross-border project, signifying the growing momentum in regional energy infrastructure collaboration and strengthening JSL's presence in transmission markets beyond India.
The project involves the development of 220kV double circuit transmission line for evacuation of power generated from the Mullikulam Wind Power Projects to Sri Lanka's national grid. As reported by Business Standard, this transmission line will serve as the artery through which wind energy potential from the North will flow into the national grid. The project represents a significant addition to Jyoti Structures' international transmission portfolio and reinforces the company's continued focus on enabling reliable, future-ready power infrastructure across the region. Hayleys Fentons' Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Roshane Perera noted that this project marks a new era for the company as they expand into the infrastructure sector, seeing it as an opportunity to unlock new growth potential and build specialised expertise in power transmission and distribution projects.

He noted that this project aligns with Sri Lanka's clean energy transition efforts and advances their own 50MW wind project in Mannar.
