Shares of Jubilant Foodworks dropped 7.58% to ₹436.75 following the release of its fourth-quarter results for FY26. According to reports from Business Standard, the company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹82.4 crore for Q4 FY26, marking a 67.1% year-on-year surge from ₹49.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The firm's revenue from operations grew 19.3% YoY to ₹2,499.5 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹2,095 crore in the year-ago period. However, investors turned cautious over slowing growth in the core Domino's India business and rising cost pressures.
Despite profit growth, Jubilant FoodWorks demonstrated strong operational performance with operating EBITDA increasing 23.7% YoY to ₹484.9 crore, while EBITDA margin improved 69 basis points to 19.4%. As reported by Business Standard, Domino's India registered 5% revenue growth on a year-on-year basis, supported by strong delivery revenue growth of 10.3% and overall order volumes increasing 10.4%. However, like-for-like revenue growth remained muted at 0.2% YoY for the quarter, with management attributing this to a high base of 12.1% like-for-like growth in the year-ago period and temporary factors including Ramadan, school examinations, and the shift of Navratri into Q4. The company added 69 net stores during the quarter, taking its global network to 3,636 stores.
Management flagged significant margin headwinds ahead, warning of rising LPG costs, inflation in cheese, oil and packaging materials, as well as higher labour costs due to wage revisions. According to Business Standard, the company noted that a complete pass-through of these costs to consumers may not be feasible, which could create near-term pressure on margins. Raw material costs increased 19.9% YoY to ₹713 crore during the quarter, while personnel expenses climbed 21.4% YoY to ₹449.9 crore. The company managed temporary LPG supply disruptions through menu reconfiguration, dynamic delivery catchments, and alternative energy sources, with LPG supplies having largely normalized in Q1 FY27.
International operations remained robust with Turkey revenue rising 59.2% YoY to ₹764.4 crore and PAT from continuing operations surging 150% to ₹57.6 crore. As reported by Business Standard, Domino's Sri Lanka revenue increased 61.4% YoY to ₹36.7 crore, while Domino's Bangladesh revenue rose 29.4% to ₹20.9 crore. The company added 8 net stores across international markets during the quarter, taking the overseas store count to 1,074. For the full financial year FY26, Jubilant FoodWorks reported revenue from operations of ₹9,512.5 crore, up 17.4% YoY, with annual operating EBITDA rising 19.1% to ₹1,887.8 crore and PAT surging 104.6% to ₹444.2 crore.
