
JK Paper delivered impressive fourth-quarter results with consolidated net profit rising 35.76% to ₹91.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2026, compared to ₹67.75 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to reports from Business Standard, the company's sales grew 17.23% to ₹1,965.95 crore during the quarter, up from ₹1,677.05 crore in Q4 FY25. The operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 14.07% in the current quarter from 12.97% in the year-ago period.
The company has successfully completed a significant corporate restructuring through a Composite Scheme of Arrangement approved by the Board of Directors and sanctioned by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Ahmedabad Bench on February 3, 2026. As reported by ICICI Direct, this scheme became effective from March 15, 2026, resulting in The Sirpur Paper Mills Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of the company, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of JK Paper Ltd. Additionally, three packaging conversion companies have been amalgamated as part of this restructuring exercise.
JK Paper is advancing a major backward integration project with the commissioning of the Hardwood Bleach Chemical Thermo-Mechanical Pulp (BCTMP) Plant of Unit CPM, Gujarat currently at an advanced stage. According to ICICI Direct, commercial production is expected from the first quarter of FY27. This strategic initiative will enable consistent supply of high-quality BCTMP pulp, eliminating the need for import of costly imported Hardwood BCTMP pulp, significantly improving the company's cost structure and operational efficiency.
Despite the strong quarterly performance, JK Paper's full-year net profit declined 34.97% to ₹265.84 crore for the financial year ended March 2026, compared to ₹408.79 crore in the previous year. As reported by Business Standard, annual sales increased 6.21% to ₹7,076.03 crore in FY26 from ₹6,662.49 crore in FY25. The company's PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) for the full year stood at ₹758.77 crore, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) was ₹381.84 crore.
