
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has scheduled its Board of Directors meeting for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, to consider declaring an interim dividend for FY 2025-26. According to the exchange filing dated March 19, this represents a significant milestone as it would be the first time the company pays a dividend to its shareholders. The company has also announced that the 'Trading Window' for dealings in the Company's securities shall remain closed till 48 hours after the conclusion of the board meeting, with the trading window already closed from March 12, 2026.
In a separate regulatory filing, IREDA's board of directors approved the enhancement of the borrowing plan for FY 2025-26 from up to ₹30,800 crore to up to ₹35,800 crore during their March 19 meeting. As reported by ET Now, the borrowing includes fund raising through Taxable Bonds/ Sub-ordinated Tier-II Bonds/Perpetual Debt Instruments (PDI) /Term loan from Banks and FI's /Lines of credit from international agencies (multilateral and bilateral agencies) /Short term loans & WCDL from Bank/ External Commercial Borrowings (ECB).
IREDA demonstrated strong financial performance in Q3 FY26, with consolidated net profit jumping 15.4% year-on-year to ₹1,381.36 crore. According to ET Now reports, revenue from operations witnessed a 28.2% spike year-on-year, reaching ₹6,041.82 crore compared to ₹4,714.25 crore in the same quarter of fiscal year 2025. For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2025, the company's revenue from operations stood at ₹6,135 crore, registering 27% year-on-year growth compared to ₹4,838 crore in the corresponding period last year.
IREDA shares closed at ₹116.45 on Friday, down ₹0.10 or 0.09% from the previous closing of ₹116.55 on the BSE. As reported by ET Now, while the stock gained 1.39% in the last one week, it has declined 8.05% in one month, 12.54% in three months, 27.58% in six months and 22.34% in one year. On a year-to-date basis, the shares have fallen 16.43%, reflecting the stock's recent volatility despite the company's strong financial performance.
