IRCTC announced its Q4 FY26 results on May 26, with the board meeting also considering a final dividend recommendation for FY2025-26. As reported by Goodreturns, in the quarter ended March 2026, the company posted revenue of ₹1,460 crore, marking a 15% year-on-year growth. However, net profit dropped 8.3% YoY to ₹330 crore due to challenging quarter conditions where top-line growth was offset by operational cost pressures. This marked the first decline in profit after almost 2.5 years during which the company recorded substantial revenue growth. The company's EBITDA stood at ₹400 crore, rising by 3.9% YoY with margins contracting 302 basis points to 27.33% from 30.35% the previous year, primarily due to higher operational expenditure and a shift toward lower-margin catering businesses.
Along with the results announcement, IRCTC declared a final dividend of ₹0.50 per share for FY2025-26. According to Goodreturns, in 2025, IRCTC made three dividend announcements: ₹5 per share in November 2025, ₹1 per share in August 2025, and ₹3 per share in February 2025. Despite the 8.3% profit decline, the 15% revenue growth indicates strong demand in IRCTC's catering and tourism segments, with the board approving the audited FY26 results and the dividend for shareholders.
