
Inox Wind shares are trading as much as 2% higher on Wednesday, July 29, following the announcement of a significant contract win. According to CNBC TV18, the Vadodara-based renewable energy company has secured a repeat 200 MW turnkey order from NLC India Limited worth ₹1,600 crore. The stock had declined close to 3% on Tuesday's trade before the positive news, with the stock price having fallen over 50% in the past year to ₹75.94 per share.
The latest order involves end-to-end execution including supplying wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement & construction (EPC), and post-commissioning operations and maintenance services. As reported by CNBC TV18, the project is scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of the Letter of Award. This order win has taken Inox Wind's order book to 4.7 GW, comprising a diversified customer base across commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and independent power producers (IPPs).
Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind Ltd., stated that this order is a strong validation of our integrated turnkey capabilities, execution expertise and technologically advanced product portfolio. According to CNBC TV18, Agarwal emphasized that the company's strong and diversified order pipeline provides significant growth visibility. The CEO expressed confidence in working closely with NLC India Limited and successfully delivering the project within the stipulated timeline.
During the fourth quarter of FY2026, Inox Wind's revenue from operations fell over 2% YoY to ₹1,244 crore from ₹1,275 crore in the year-ago period, as reported by The Economic Times. Total income declined marginally to ₹1,306 crore, while total expenses increased more than 5% YoY to ₹1,162 crore during the quarter under review. The company's net profit for Q4FY26 fell 51.1% to ₹91.3 crore from ₹186.8 crore in Q4FY25, while EBITDA dropped 21.5% to ₹200 crore from ₹254 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
In late 2025, Inox Wind had secured a 102.3 megawatt (MW) order from Aditya Birla Renewables subsidiary ABREL EPC Ltd., as reported by CNBC TV18. The company's diversified order book provides long-term execution visibility as India accelerates renewable energy capacity addition. The latest contract win reinforces Inox Wind's position as one of India's leading integrated wind energy solutions providers, backed by its expertise in executing large-scale turnkey wind projects.
