Concrete pipe manufacturing company Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd has secured a significant contract worth ₹458.69 crore from the Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department, Hyderabad, Telangana. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the contract was awarded for a water supply improvement project in Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation under UIDF funding. The work order has been awarded by the Superintending Engineer (PH), Warangal Circle, Warangal, under the Government of Telangana's Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department.
As reported by CNBC TV18, the contract is domestic in nature and has been awarded as a percentage contract. The project is scheduled for execution over a 24-month period. The company has confirmed that neither its promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract, ensuring transparency in the contract award process.
