
IIFL Asset Management has acquired nearly 2 percent equity stake in Indo Tech Transformers, the power and distribution transformers maker, from promoter via block deals on June 29. According to reports, the asset management company purchased 2 lakh shares representing 1.88 percent stake in the company for ₹59.7 crore from promoter Shirdi Sai Electricals. The shares were exchanged at a price of ₹2,985 per share. In the latest development, promoter Shirdi Sai Electricals sold 68,048 shares at ₹3,231.23 per share and 1.31 lakh shares at ₹3,215.39 per share on June 30, valued at ₹66.41 crore total.
The stock market reacted positively to the transaction, with Indo Tech Transformers shares freezing at 5 percent upper circuit for the second consecutive session, closing at ₹3,235.9 amid high volumes on the National Stock Exchange. As reported, the stock experienced a consolidation breakout following the stake acquisition announcement, with the promoter selling additional shares on June 30 despite the positive market response.
In the pharmaceutical sector, institutional investor Mateus bought 11.5 lakh shares (1.08 percent stake) in Bliss GVS Pharma from Arian Investment for ₹56.35 crore at ₹490 per share. The pharmaceutical stock soared 7.71 percent to end at a record closing high of ₹529.9 amid high volumes on the NSE, extending its uptrend for the second consecutive session. In the technology sector, 360 ONE Pipe Fund acquired 19.23 lakh shares (3.52 percent stake) in Ivalue Infosolutions for ₹50 crore at ₹260 per share, while ace investor Ashish Kacholia's Bengal Finance & Investment bought additional 3 lakh shares for ₹7.86 crore.
In the manufacturing sector, Goodluck India, the tube and pipe manufacturer, attracted healthy buying interest despite subdued market conditions, rising 5 percent to ₹1,474.6 amid large volumes on the NSE. According to reports, SageOne - Flagship Growth OE Fund purchased additional 2.5 lakh shares (0.75 percent stake) in the Garg family-owned company for ₹35.5 crore at ₹1,420 per share. However, promoter Manish Garg sold 2.9 lakh shares (0.87 percent stake) in the company at ₹1,420.81 per share, valued at ₹41.2 crore. Notably, SageOne through its two schemes including Flagship Growth OE Fund held 2.46 percent stake in Goodluck as of March 2026.
In the defence sector, Krishna Defence and Allied Industries stock price corrected 3.18 percent to ₹1,207.4 amid high volumes, as promoters Pallavi Ashwin Shah, Ankur Ashwin Shah, and Preyal Ankur Shah sold 7 lakh shares (4.68 percent stake) for ₹84.21 crore. However, 360 ONE Pipe Fund bought 4.41 lakh shares (2.95 percent stake) at ₹1,203.47 per share, valued at ₹53.15 crore. Energy Infrastructure Trust units fell 2.2 percent to ₹75.69 after Rapid Holdings 2 Pte Ltd sold 3.97 crore units for ₹302.13 crore, with Neo Real Asset Yield Fund and HDFC Securities among the buyers.
