
ICICI Bank Ltd., one of India's biggest private lenders, has announced the schedule for the declaration of second quarter results for the fiscal 2026-27. According to an exchange filing on Tuesday, the meeting of the Board of Directors of ICICI Bank Limited is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, to consider and approve the unaudited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and six months ending September 30, 2026. The lender has not shared any update on the declaration of dividend along with second quarter results. The bank has intimated this information to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India on September 22, 2026, with the exact Board Meeting date to be notified later. As per ET Now, ICICI Bank had declared its second-quarter earnings for FY27 at around 2.20 pm on July 18, 2026, and it is expected that the private bank firm will announce its July-September earnings at around the same time on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The window for trading in securities of the Bank shall remain closed from October 1 to October 19 (both days inclusive) for the designated employees and their immediate relatives pursuant to the Bank's share dealing code. This trading restriction period has been implemented in accordance with the bank's regulatory compliance requirements and the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018. The closure ensures that no insider trading occurs during the sensitive period leading up to the public disclosure of financial performance. The restriction applies to all equity share dealings by designated persons, including directors, promoters, and insiders. As per Isgec Heavy Engineering example, similar restrictions are being implemented across companies during Q2FY27 results season, with trading windows closing 48 hours before results declaration. The trading window will reopen 48 hours after the company announces its financial results to the stock exchanges, ensuring standard compliance procedures are followed.
ICICI Bank Ltd. reported a strong start to FY27, with standalone net profit rising 16% year-on-year to ₹14,804 crore in the June quarter from ₹12,768 crore a year ago, while comfortably beating Bloomberg's consensus estimate of ₹13,373 crore. Net interest income (NII), the difference between interest earned and interest paid, increased 13% year-on-year to ₹24,385 crore, compared with ₹21,635 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Operating profit rose to ₹20,386 crore, up from ₹17,505 crore in Q1 FY26, and ahead of analysts' estimate of ₹19,278 crore. Net interest margin (NIM) stood at 4.36%, compared with 4.34% a year earlier and above the Street estimate of 4.18%. According to ET Now, the company's net interest margin expanded marginally to 4.36% from 4.34% in the year-ago quarter and 4.32% in the preceding March quarter, while core operating profit increased 15.6% year-on-year to ₹20,235 crore from ₹17,505 crore.
ICICI Bank shares closed 0.30% lower at ₹1,339.50 from the previous day close of ₹1,343.50 on the BSE on Tuesday. The shares have fallen 0.8% in one week and 5.66% in one month. The shares are up 0.12% year-to-date but have fallen 4.42% in one year. According to ET Now, the current trading performance reflects market conditions ahead of the upcoming quarterly results announcement. The shares closed 0.40% lower at ₹1,339.6 per share on Tuesday in the previous report.
