The company's domestic sales performance was particularly impressive, with 4,68,000 units sold in June 2026, registering a 21% year-on-year growth from 3,88,812 units in June 2025. Export sales showed exceptional growth, with 59,325 units shipped in June 2026, recording a 47% year-on-year increase compared to the corresponding month in 2025. For the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (April-June), HMSI achieved total vehicle sales of 16,11,662 units, marking a 17% increase from 13,75,152 units in the same quarter of the previous year. During Q1FY27, domestic sales stood at 14.13 lakh units compared to 12.28 lakh units in Q1FY26, registering a 15% year-on-year growth, while exports for Q1FY27 stood at 1.98 lakh units compared to 1.46 lakh units in Q1FY26, recording a 36% year-on-year growth.
Tsutsumu Otani, President & CEO at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, attributed the healthy growth momentum to steady underlying demand conditions and disciplined execution.
