
Hero MotoCorp reported an 18.6% rise in total sales at 5,33,416 units in July 2026 compared to 4,49,755 units in the same month last year, according to the company's statement. Domestic sales surged 21.6% to 5,01,403 units from 4,12,397 units in July 2025. The company's motorcycle segment showed robust growth with sales reaching 4,68,565 units against 4,00,615 units in the previous year. Scooter sales also contributed positively, rising to 64,851 units compared to 49,140 units in July 2025. However, exports declined 14.3% to 32,013 units from 37,358 units in the year-ago month.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd reported a 26% year-on-year increase in total sales to 1,42,985 units in July, marking its highest-ever monthly sales, as reported by the company. Domestic sales reached a record 1,23,216 units, representing a 28% increase from 96,029 units in July 2025. The company's export performance also improved with 19,769 units exported, up 13% over 17,571 units exported in July 2025. Additionally, spare parts sales touched an all-time high revenue of ₹102.9 crore in July 2026, showing a 23% growth over the same month last year.
Both companies demonstrated strong performance in the domestic two-wheeler market during July 2026. Hero MotoCorp's domestic sales of 5,01,403 units significantly outpaced its total sales growth, indicating the company's continued strength in the Indian market. Suzuki Motorcycle India's record domestic performance of 1,23,216 units reinforced its position as a key player in the premium motorcycle segment.
