The railway contract follows several other major project wins for GR Infraprojects. According to CNBC TV18, the company received a ₹1,453.57 crore Letter of Acceptance from the National Highways Authority of India for a highway upgradation project in Gujarat. The Gujarat project involves converting a 60.21 km stretch of NH-56 into a four-lane divided carriageway, demonstrating the company's diversified project portfolio across multiple infrastructure segments.
In a separate development, GR Infraprojects secured a ₹413.37 crore EPC contract from NTPC for a battery energy storage system project at the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station, as reported by CNBC TV18. This energy sector contract represents the company's expansion into renewable and energy storage infrastructure projects alongside its traditional highway and railway projects.
