Flying Flea, the urban electric mobility brand from Eicher Motors Limited, has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Europe and the UK. According to the latest regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), the electric motorcycle is now available at Flying Flea stores in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London, with bookings open and deliveries set to begin by October 2026. The launch follows a city-by-city rollout approach, with the first city being Bengaluru in India. The rollout adopts a phased approach to ensure robust sales and service infrastructure is established before wider availability across European markets. The filing shows the launch is backed by a dedicated service infrastructure and a phased city-by-city rollout approach, which the company states is designed to support ownership experience from day one. As per Eicher Motors Limited, the company's foray into electric mobility through the differentiated Flying Flea brand reflects their long-term intent to build a new category of electric mobility.
The Flying Flea C6 is priced at €5,990 across Europe and £5,300 in the UK, as reported by the latest regulatory filing. The launch follows the successful initial response in India, where early riders have logged over 100,000 customer-ridden kilometres in just three months since the Bengaluru launch. The pricing strategy positions the C6 as a premium urban mobility solution, with the €5,990 entry price significantly higher than typical e-bikes but aligning with premium electric motorcycles. The 104 km range and 60-minute charge time (20-80%) suggest a focus on daily urban commuting rather than long-distance touring, reinforcing the "urban electric mobility" positioning. The motorcycle is offered in three carefully selected colourways: Flea Green, Storm Black, and Parachute White, with bookings available at dedicated store locations including Royal Enfield Bastille in Paris, Royal Enfield Barcelona, e-drive Center in Berlin, Krazy Horse London in Welling, and Royal Enfield Roma Nord in Rome.
The Flying Flea C6 offers impressive technical specifications including a WMTC range of 104 km (65 miles), top speed of 115 km/h (72 mph), and peak power of 15.4 kW @ 3500 RPM. The motorcycle is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery encased in lightweight magnesium alloy and features efficient regenerative braking technology. The vehicle supports fast charging via a standard 16 Amp wall outlet, with riders able to select between Rapid, Standard, and Trickle charging modes through the software interface. The FF.C6 is powered by a 15.4 kW peak motor delivering 60 Nm torque, supported by Fleaware OS—a proprietary adaptation of Android Automotive OS that works in tandem with the Flying Flea Mobile App, offering personalized rider experiences through continuous learning from user behavior. The motorcycle also includes over-the-air updates, seamless connected navigation, and advanced safety features like lean-angle ABS and traction control. The industry-first rotary mode switch allows riders to transition effortlessly between ride modes, while ergonomics are meticulously considered with a joystick-controlled TFT interface and programmable buttons.
The Flying Flea C6 combines Royal Enfield's design language from the past with advanced battery and connected vehicle technology. The motorcycle features a lightweight forged-aluminium Girder fork and an exoskeleton frame inspired by 1940s heritage, but reimagined for today's riders. The motorcycle is available in three carefully selected colourways: Flea Green, Storm Black, and Parachute White, appealing to a wide array of aesthetic preferences. The design excellence has been recognized with multiple international awards, including the Red Dot Award 2025, Good Design Award 2025, and iF Design Award 2026. The dynamic front fins, arranged in alternate sequence, symbolise innovation and modern technology, while the subtle rear fins embody tradition and legacy. The battery fins twist and turn eventually merging seamlessly into a wing-shaped scoop at the center, reflecting the unique identity of Royal Enfield. The development involved a team of 200+ engineers across India and the UK, resulting in 45+ patent applications and demonstrating the company's commitment to innovation in electric mobility.
This announcement marks Royal Enfield's first commercial electric motorcycle offering in European and UK markets, extending the brand beyond its established internal combustion engine portfolio. The European electric two-wheeler market has seen growing regulatory pressure to phase out internal combustion engines in urban zones, with several EU member states advancing zero-emission vehicle incentive frameworks. By entering Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, and London, Eicher Motors focuses on mature urban commuter markets that value sustainable lightweight mobility. The European booking price of €5,990 (~₹5.58 lakh) represents a high-margin positioning compared to the India launch price of ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), establishing strong, high-margin revenue potential for Royal Enfield's electric segment. The premium-priced launch in high-income European markets is highly margin-supportive, allowing the company to establish brand equity and test supply chain capabilities in mature EV markets while preserving near-term profit margins from its highly successful global petrol motorcycle business. The company operates through more than 2074 stores across all major cities and towns in India and through nearly 1212 stores in 80+ countries around the globe.
