Despite strong quarterly results, Finolex Industries faces near-term challenges according to IDBI Capital's latest report. The brokerage maintains a 'Hold' rating with a revised target price of ₹207, implying limited upside from current levels. The company is gradually diversifying its product mix to reduce agricultural dependence, with the agricultural segment share declining from 67% in FY25 to 63% in FY26. Management noted that the fittings segment is growing at 9-10% while the overall CPVC portfolio expands at 8-9% annually. The brokerage believes subdued demand and volatile raw material prices will keep operational performance under pressure in the near term.
