Orbit Exports Limited has scheduled a board meeting for January 30, 2026, to review and approve the company's Q3FY26 financial results. This announcement comes as the textile company continues to navigate mixed financial performance following its Q2FY26 results that showed contrasting quarterly and half-yearly trends.
The company's Q2FY26 results revealed a 3.24% decline in quarterly revenue to ₹5,718.73 lakhs compared to ₹5,910.32 lakhs in Q2FY25. However, the half-yearly performance showed resilience with revenue growth of 10.86% to ₹12,306.38 lakhs from ₹11,100.74 lakhs in H1FY25. Net profit after tax for the quarter declined significantly by 37.16% to ₹1,005.26 lakhs from ₹1,599.72 lakhs in the corresponding period last year. On a standalone basis, the company reported quarterly revenue of ₹5,272.06 lakhs, down 8.37% from the previous year, while half-yearly standalone revenue grew 8.35% to ₹11,572.51 lakhs.
Orbit Exports received substantial government support during the quarter, including interest and power subsidies totaling ₹376.09 lakhs. Additionally, the company received a capital subsidy of ₹54.59 lakhs under the ATUF Scheme, which is being recognized over the useful life of the relevant assets. These subsidies reflect the government's continued support for the textile sector and help offset some operational challenges faced by the industry.
The company strengthened its board composition with the appointment of Ms. Raveena Modi as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective from October 07, 2025, for a five-year term concluding on September 26, 2030. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval. Ms. Modi brings over nine years of experience in corporate and commercial litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, regulatory compliance, and real estate advisory. She is an LL.B. graduate from Government Law College, Mumbai, and a qualified Company Secretary with a background in Accounting and Finance.
The company's stock performance has shown volatility with recent returns indicating +0.06% over 1 day and +6.24% over 5 days, though longer-term performance shows challenges with -11.45% over 1 month and -30.40% over 6 months. Despite short-term headwinds, the five-year return remains strong at +151.90%. The upcoming Q3FY26 results will be closely watched by investors to assess whether the company can maintain the positive half-yearly momentum while addressing quarterly performance challenges in the textile sector.
