
Eco Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Eco Satva Shirdi, a 58-room hotel in Shirdi, Maharashtra. According to reports from Business Standard, this launch represents another strategic step in the company's expansion across high potential pilgrimage, leisure and business destinations in India. The new property is strategically located on Nagar Manmad Road in Nimgaon Korhale, Shirdi, designed to attract the significant visitor base to this prominent pilgrimage destination. The hotel offers comprehensive amenities including a swimming pool, multiple dining options, and the pure vegetarian Satvik restaurant Sahar, along with a rooftop restaurant and bar, EcoSip Café, and Pan Asian and Continental dining options.
With the addition of the Shirdi property, Eco Hotels has crossed 280 operational rooms in its portfolio. As reported by Business Standard, the company is set to further expand with a 52-room property in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar scheduled for October launch. Additionally, the company plans to add a 16-room boutique hotel in Ayodhya within the next 45 days, bringing its total portfolio to approximately 350 rooms ahead of Diwali. This growth strategy focuses on identifying destinations with strong, sustained demand and developing properties that cater to specific market needs, particularly in pilgrimage tourism. The expansion reflects a broader shift in hotel development towards destinations where demand is supported not only by conventional leisure travel but also by religious and business activity.
