According to reports from Business Standard, Duroply Industries experienced a significant decline in profitability during the quarter ended June 2026. The company's standalone net profit dropped 60.65% to ₹0.61 crore compared to ₹1.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This substantial decline indicates challenging operating conditions for the company during the first quarter of fiscal 2026.
Despite the profit decline, Duroply Industries demonstrated resilience in its top-line performance. As reported by Business Standard, sales increased 6.49% to ₹99.61 crore in Q1 FY2026, up from ₹93.54 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. This revenue growth suggests the company maintained its market presence and customer demand, even as profitability faced pressure.
According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) declined to 4.41% in Q1 FY2026 from 15.53% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Additionally, PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) fell 12% to ₹2.83 crore and PBT (Profit Before Tax) decreased 45% to ₹1.04 crore compared to the same period last year. These operational metrics indicate broader challenges in the company's cost management and operational efficiency during the quarter.
