Jewellery retailer DP Abhushan has set an ambitious target of ₹15,000 crore revenue by FY30, representing a significant expansion from its current performance. According to reports from PTI, the company achieved ₹4,065.13 crore revenue in FY26 and is now planning aggressive expansion across multiple states to achieve this target.
The company is targeting 51 stores by 2029-30, with a focus on tier-II and III cities across central, north and west India. As reported by PTI, DP Abhushan currently operates 12 stores in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan but is now expanding to Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The expansion includes new stores in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Nagpur and Nasik (Maharashtra), and Dahod and Baroda (Gujarat).
To accelerate expansion, DP Abhushan is adopting both franchise and company-owned models. According to PTI reports, the company has finalised one franchise store in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, with plans to expand this model further. While all current 12 jewellery stores are company-owned, the company is transitioning to franchise and FOCO (Franchise or Franchisee-owned and Company-operated) models from the current financial year to accelerate growth.
The expansion requires a capex of around ₹50 crore, which will be raised through internal accruals. As reported by PTI, the Ratlam-headquartered jewellery retailer's current total debt stands at ₹180 crore and the company is planning to reduce this debt going forward. The company is targeting presence in 7-8 states as part of its aggressive expansion strategy.
In existing markets, DP Abhushan is continuing to expand and strengthen its presence. According to PTI reports, the company is looking at setting up stores in Sagar and Mansoor in Madhya Pradesh, and Jodhpur and Bikaner in Rajasthan. The focus remains on tier-II and III cities for sustained growth in these markets.
