
According to reports from CNBC TV18, Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a road construction project worth ₹160.20 crore, excluding GST. The project involves the construction of a diversion road from 4/700 km to 11/500 km of the Duduka–Gopalpur–Toparia Road, featuring a six-lane corridor with a service road in Sundargarh district of Odisha. The tender was floated by Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation Limited (OBCCL), and the project will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis with a completion period of 18 months. As per the latest regulatory filing, the contract does not involve any related party transactions, and the promoter group companies have no interest in the awarding entity.
As reported by CNBC TV18, the company's shares ended 3.75% in the red on Friday, March 13. The stock has experienced a significant decline of 77% in the year so far, indicating challenging market conditions for the infrastructure company. The recent project win comes amid broader market pressures affecting the company's stock performance.
According to CNBC TV18, earlier this week, the company announced it has received a Letter of Intent from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) for the development of a 400 kV substation at Mekhali along with associated transmission lines in Belagavi district, Karnataka.
