Dilip Buildcon has secured a significant infrastructure contract through its joint venture DBL-RBL. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and ETInfra, the company received a letter of award (LOA) from Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat for the project. The contract involves designing and construction of Ged Barrage, protection work and other allied activities across Sabarmati River between Hirpura barrage and Lakroda weir in Ta. Prantij, District Sabarkantha. Notably, this contract includes 10 years of operation and maintenance with a 24-month execution period, representing a comprehensive infrastructure development project.
The project is valued at ₹268 crore and will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis with a 24-month completion period. As reported by CNBC TV18 and ETInfra, this represents a substantial order for Dilip Buildcon in the irrigation infrastructure sector. The contract was awarded by the Government of Gujarat through the Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, indicating the project's strategic importance for the state's water management infrastructure. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is not a related party transaction.
The company's latest quarterly results show mixed performance indicators. According to CNBC TV18, Dilip Buildcon posted a consolidated net profit of ₹62.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, which is down 63.7% from ₹170.83 crore a year earlier. Revenue from operations fell 25.7% year-on-year to ₹2,299.8 crore from ₹3,096.1 crore. EBITDA declined 40.7% to ₹392.3 crore during the quarter, while EBITDA margin narrowed to 17.06% from 21.35% a year earlier. However, the company's FY26 performance showed significant improvement with consolidated revenue of ₹8,984 crore, EBITDA of ₹1,766 crore, and an EBITDA margin of 19.7%. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹1,398 crore, reflecting a healthy jump from the previous fiscal despite some one-time items in earlier quarters.
