According to the company's exchange filing, the contract involves manufacturing and supply of a critical piping assembly, including a main steam package and hot reheat system specifically for the power sector PSU EPC conglomerate. The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the manufacture and supply of these critical piping assemblies. The project timeline stipulates the delivery of the first two units within 6 to 12 months of receiving the purchase order, with the remaining two units to be delivered within 12 to 15 months post-purchase order. As per the disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the orders are non-related party transactions with the customer's name remaining undisclosed due to commercial reasons.
The stock market responded positively to the contract announcement, with Dee Development shares surging 5% to hit their 52-week high of ₹623.05 during Monday's trading session. This latest contract follows Dee Development's ₹386 crore order from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) received on Saturday, May 30. According to NSE filings, the BPCL contract involves manufacturing and supply of piping to the energy producer, with the company receiving ₹386,82,65,388 or more than ₹386 crore including GST charges. The BPCL piping deal is expected to be completed by February 18, 2028. The company has confirmed that the Maharatna PSU contracts are domestic in nature and do not involve any related party transactions, with the promoter, promoter group, or group companies holding no interest in the entity that awarded the contracts.
Despite securing significant new orders, Dee Development reported mixed financial results for Q4 FY26. The company reported a 11.11% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit to ₹28.01 crore in Q4 FY26 over Q4 FY5, as reported by Business Standard. However, this decline was offset by strong revenue growth, with revenue from operations rising 26.26% to ₹361.57 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to the same period last year.
