The company reported a 34.78% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹0.15 crore in Q1 FY27, down from ₹0.23 crore in Q1 FY26. As reported by Business Standard, total income also declined 2.95% YoY to ₹29.97 crore from ₹30.88 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Profit before tax stood at ₹0.29 crore in Q1 FY27, representing a 32.56% decline from ₹0.43 crore in Q1 FY26.
According to the company's financial results, total expenses declined 2.53% YoY to ₹29.68 crore from ₹30.45 crore during the quarter. Finance costs stood at ₹2.18 crore, down 3.11% YoY, while employee benefits expense came in at ₹18.16 crore, up 4.49% YoY. The cost management showed mixed results with some expense categories declining while others increased during the quarter.
On the segmental front, revenue from stockbroking stood at ₹16.26 crore, down 9.87% YoY, indicating challenges in the company's core broking business. However, investment banking revenue increased 3.73% YoY to ₹9.46 crore, showing resilience in the advisory segment. Unallocated revenue stood at ₹4.14 crore, up 12.20% YoY, providing some positive momentum during the quarter.
