Conart Engineers reported a 16% quarter-on-quarter increase in net profit to ₹70.19 lakh for Q1FY27, up from ₹60.75 lakh in Q4FY26, as reported by the company. However, this sequential growth came against a 2.4% year-on-year decline from ₹71.90 lakh in Q1FY26. The Mumbai-based construction engineering firm's earnings per share (basic and diluted) stood at ₹1.12, up from ₹0.97 in the previous quarter but slightly lower than ₹1.14 recorded in Q1FY26.
The company demonstrated robust sequential revenue growth with sales rising 28.6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹20.08 crore in Q1FY27, compared to ₹15.61 crore in Q4FY26, as reported by Conart Engineers. This substantial sequential increase from ₹14.78 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year indicates strong business momentum and improved project execution in the initial months of FY27. Total income reached ₹20.27 crore, supported by other income of ₹19.26 lakh.
Total expenses increased 33.6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹19.34 crore in Q1FY27, with construction expenses accounting for ₹11.24 crore and cost of materials consumed at ₹10.36 crore, as reported by Conart Engineers. This expense growth, driven primarily by higher construction expenses and material costs, constrained profitability despite strong revenue gains. Profit Before Tax declined 28.8% quarter-on-quarter to ₹93.06 lakh from ₹130.65 lakh in Q1FY26, highlighting margin pressure from input cost inflation and project-specific complexities.
