IT services firm Cognizant has expanded its partnership with Anthropic, becoming a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network, according to a press release statement. The partnership, which builds on an agreement announced in late 2025, focuses on embedding Anthropic's Claude AI model into Cognizant's business and engineering platforms. The expanded collaboration addresses the gap between model capability and companies' ability to drive business results, bringing together domain context, engineering depth and delivery scale needed to embed AI into existing enterprise systems.
Cognizant Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar stated that their role is to be the bridge, bringing industry context, engineering scale and trust frameworks that use Claude to deliver production outcomes inside the most demanding enterprise environments. Cognizant currently holds the most certifications on Claude globally, demonstrating their commitment to mastering the technology. The partnership focuses on deploying AI solutions across regulated industries and business operations where measurable results are already being achieved. As Kumar explained, "AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and that gap is the defining problem of this moment."
According to the latest reports, Cognizant is deploying Claude across multiple regulated industries with measurable results. In manufacturing, the company delivered an AI-led customer experience portal for a global manufacturer within six months. In life sciences, Cognizant built an agentic contract-intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical company that reduced contract review time by up to 40 percent and achieved extraction accuracy above 88 percent. In insurance, the company developed a risk-navigation tool that reduced research time from hours to approximately one minute for underwriters, saving each underwriter roughly eight hours weekly. Daniela Amodei, co-founder and president of Anthropic, emphasized that deepening the partnership will help more companies harness AI's growing capability and deploy it in real, practical ways across manufacturing and life sciences sectors.
Cognizant is integrating Claude into platforms including Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering and Neuro IT Ops. Flowsource has incorporated Claude Code into its Spec-Driven Development module, with the platform evolving to introduce an agentic workforce alongside human engineers, integrating Claude Code directly into its Spec-Driven Development module. The company is working with Travelport to deploy Claude across its software delivery lifecycle, using the model's large context window to analyze codebases and surface embedded business logic. More than 30,000 Cognizant associates have completed Claude training, with the company committed to credentialing 5,000 Frontier Certified Engineers and 10,000 Frontier Business Operators as part of its Frontier workforce model, with a certification pipeline reaching 40,000 professionals.
Anthropic is expanding its Claude Certification Program with three new role-based credentials added to the existing Claude Certified Architect: Foundations for solution architects. According to joint research conducted by Pearson and AWS, 53% of employers report their primary challenge is finding graduates with the right AI skills. Since launching in March, more than 36,000 consultants have received certification across more than 1,300 organizations, with more than 400,000 people completing Claude training through Anthropic Partner Academy. Major partners including Accenture (50,000 certified professionals), Capgemini (20,000), Cognizant (10,000 developers and engineers), Deloitte (15,000), and DXC (20,000) are committing to certify tens of thousands of professionals across foundational, technical and specialized tracks.
