
According to reports from CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, Ceigall India jointly with Sushee Infra & Mining (SIML) has emerged as the L1 bidder for a significant road construction project in Arunachal Pradesh. The joint venture structure comprises CIL holding 74% stake and SIML maintaining 26% stake in the partnership. The company informed exchanges that the financial bids were opened on July 8, with the joint venture securing the lowest bidder position for the substantial infrastructure contract. As per Business Standard, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and clarified that neither the promoters, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding authority, with the contract not qualifying as a related-party transaction.

The project scope includes construction of road from the specified stretch to Intermediate Lane on EPC mode, representing a comprehensive infrastructure development initiative. The road will be developed to an intermediate lane configuration under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, with the project involving construction of a road from km 85.60 to km 168.00 of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) to an intermediate lane standard in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the project is valued at ₹704.70 crore (excluding GST), making it a substantial infrastructure contract for the joint venture. The contract carries a 48-month construction period, followed by a five-year maintenance period, providing comprehensive project timeline and revenue visibility. The tender was invited by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway, highlighting the government's focus on expanding highway connectivity in the region.
As reported by CNBC TV18, this latest win comes just a day after Ceigall announced receiving appointed dates for three highway projects worth a combined ₹4,050 crore. These projects include two packages of the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Greenfield Highway under the Bharatmala Pariyojana on the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), valued at ₹1,656 crore and ₹1,305 crore respectively. The third project is the Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Highway in Madhya Pradesh, worth ₹1,089 crore, enabling construction to commence across road projects in Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.
According to CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, Ceigall has remained active on the bidding front, emerging as the L1 bidder for a ₹330.84 crore Delhi Public Works Department road-strengthening project, though the award remains subject to completion of tender formalities. Earlier in June, the company's special purpose vehicle, Ceigall Ambala Chandigarh Zirakpur Ltd, signed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a highway project in Punjab. As per Business Standard, the scrip fell 2.30% to ₹371.80 on the BSE following the project announcement. Ceigall India is an infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company engaged in the development of highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, tunnels, and runways, with the company executing projects under EPC as well as Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) formats.
