Carysil Limited shares jumped over 5% following the company's robust December quarter results, with net profit surging 68% year-on-year to ₹21 crore. According to the company's exchange filing on Wednesday, February 4, revenue from operations rose 9.6% YoY to ₹222.6 crore in Q3FY26, compared with ₹203 crore in the same quarter last year. The significant profit growth was driven by EBITDA surging 46.2% YoY to ₹42 crore from ₹28.8 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded sharply to 18.9% from 14.2% a year ago. This impressive bottom-line performance was primarily fueled by enhanced operating leverage and sharp margin expansion, a trend that has become a hallmark of the company's recent financial reports.
The improvement in profitability was attributed to better cost efficiencies and operating leverage, as reported by Carysil. Despite modest revenue growth remaining in single digits, the company achieved substantial margin expansion through operational improvements. The strong performance demonstrates the company's ability to optimize its cost structure while maintaining growth momentum in its business operations. The juxtaposition of strong profit growth against single-digit revenue expansion suggests a strategic focus on cost management and operational efficiencies, with the company converting sales into operational profit more effectively than in previous quarters.
Separately, Carysil informed exchanges that ICRA reported no material deviation in the utilisation of funds raised through its Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP). As of December 31, 2025, the company had utilized ₹82.52 crore of the QIP proceeds, primarily towards capital expenditure for new manufacturing facilities, working capital requirements and general corporate purposes. The remaining ₹39.13 crore is held in liquid assets, aligning with stated objectives and supporting expansion plans without any delays or adverse events impacting execution.
Shares of the company surged over 5% following the Q3 result announcement and were trading at ₹1,006.80 as of 3.12 pm. According to the monitoring report, ICRA noted that the utilization of funds remains in line with the stated objects of the issue and that there were no delays or adverse events impacting the execution of the company's expansion plans. The stock has demonstrated strong performance with 44% growth over the past year and currently trades in the ₹1000-₹1012 range. As of early February 2026, Carysil's market capitalization hovers around ₹2,700-2,800 crore. The company's trailing twelve months (TTM) Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio falls within 28x to 43x range, with current prices placing it between 35x and 43x depending on valuation date. While this valuation appears rich relative to the sector's median P/E of approximately 12.4x, it is more competitive when compared to several peers in the consumer durables space.
