
Shares of CarTrade Tech Ltd surged nearly 8 percent on Thursday following the company's record quarterly earnings announcement. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the stock was trading at ₹1,942 in late morning trade, up 7.5 percent for the day after remaining strong since morning. The stock has risen around 16 percent over the past one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark Nifty 50, which is down around 0.5 percent during the same period. The company's market capitalisation stood at around ₹9,300 crore.
For Q4 FY26, CarTrade Tech delivered exceptional financial results with net profit increasing 54 percent to ₹70.85 crore, while consolidated revenue rose 17 percent year-on-year to ₹220.75 crore. As reported by Moneycontrol, the company's EBITDA jumped 55 percent to ₹71.65 crore during the quarter, with EBITDA margin expanding sharply to 35 percent from 27 percent a year earlier. The strong profitability growth was supported by robust execution across the company's Consumer Group, remarketing and OLX India businesses.
On a full-year basis, CarTrade Tech achieved record annual performance with revenue growing 22 percent to ₹869.77 crore in FY26, while EBITDA surged 70 percent to ₹257 crore with margins at 33 percent. According to Moneycontrol, annual profit after tax rose 68 percent year-on-year to ₹243.51 crore. The company described FY26 as a 'landmark year' delivering its highest-ever annual revenue, profit and margins across all business segments.
The company highlighted strong growth across all business segments during the quarter. As reported by Moneycontrol, the Consumer Group business reported 25 percent revenue growth and 72 percent EBITDA growth, while the Remarketing business posted 22 percent revenue growth and 56 percent EBITDA growth. OLX India revenue grew 16 percent year-on-year, with EBITDA rising 34 percent. The company's platforms engaged around 76 million average monthly unique visitors during the quarter, with organic traffic accounting for 95 percent of total traffic.
According to Moneycontrol, CarTrade Tech now operates across more than 540 physical locations through formats including Shriram Automall, CarWale abSure, Signature dealerships and OLX India franchise outlets. Chairman and Founder Vinay Sanghi commented that the company would continue focusing on AI-led products and future-ready technology platforms to strengthen customer experience and operational efficiencies. The strong quarterly results demonstrate the company's successful diversification strategy across multiple automotive and digital platforms.
