Non-bank lender Capri Global Capital has confirmed that chief executive officer Monu Ratra resigned effective January 19, 2026, according to the latest BSE filing. Ratra's tenure lasted just over three months, having assumed charge as CEO on October 7, 2025. The resignation became effective 12 days earlier than his initially planned last working day of January 31, 2026. Prior to joining Capri Global Capital, Ratra served as the CEO of IIFL Home Finance.
In his resignation letter addressed to the company's board of directors, Ratra stated that after careful thought and personal reflection, he had decided to explore entrepreneurial opportunities. As reported by The Economic Times, he clarified that his decision was driven by long-term personal aspirations and was not due to any disagreement or difference of opinion with the board, management, or the affairs of the company. The BSE announcement confirmed the resignation under Regulation 30 (LODR) regarding the departure of the Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).
Despite the leadership change, Capri Global Capital continues its regular business operations with scheduled corporate activities. According to BSE filings, the company has announced its Q3FY26 earnings call scheduled for January 20, 2026, and a board meeting on January 29, 2026 to consider the unaudited financial statements for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The company is also conducting a postal ballot process for the re-appointment of Mr. Desh Raj Dogra as an Independent Director, demonstrating continued governance activities during the transition period.
