
Bengaluru-based real estate developer Brigade Enterprises has announced a 1:3 bonus share issue for its shareholders, marking the first such corporate action in around seven years. According to reports from The Economic Times, the board of directors approved the plan to issue one bonus share with a face value of ₹10 each for every three shares held as on the record date, subject to shareholders' approval.
Alongside the bonus issue announcement, Brigade Enterprises reported its Q4 results on Wednesday, showing mixed financial performance. As reported by The Economic Times, the company experienced lower profit and revenue during the quarter, which pressured the stock despite the positive corporate action announcement.
The company also announced a final dividend of ₹2 per equity share for the financial year 2026, subject to shareholders' approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). According to The Economic Times, this dividend declaration was made alongside the bonus issue and Q4 results announcement.
At the end of financial year 2026, the promoters and promoter group held 41% stake in the company, while the remaining 59% stake was held by public and institutions. As reported by The Economic Times, nearly 1.5 lakh retail investors held around 4% stake in the company according to NSE's data on the company's shareholding pattern as on March 31, 2026.
