Consumer electronics brand boAt delivered impressive financial results for FY26, with profit after tax surging 38% to ₹84.5 crore compared to ₹61.1 crore in the preceding fiscal year. According to reports from PTI, the company's revenue from operations reached ₹2,931 crore during the financial year. The strong performance demonstrates the company's ability to navigate challenging market conditions while maintaining growth momentum, with CEO Gaurav Nayyar noting that FY26 was about strengthening the foundations of boAt while navigating a challenging external environment.
A significant highlight of FY26 was the wearables segment's successful turnaround, recording a profit of approximately ₹7 crore compared to a substantial loss of ₹54 crore in FY25. As reported by PTI, this transformation marks a crucial milestone for boAt's diversification strategy beyond its core audio business. The company's focus on expanding into new categories appears to be yielding positive results across multiple product lines, with CEO Gaurav Nayyar highlighting that improvement is visible across the business and newer categories are beginning to emerge as meaningful growth and profit pools.
The company's international operations showed remarkable growth, with revenue more than doubling to ₹45 crore from approximately ₹20 crore in FY25. According to PTI, the 'other' segment, which includes charging solutions, cables, and gaming categories, demonstrated strong performance with profit increasing to ₹46 crore from ₹14 crore in the year-ago period. This diversification strategy is helping boAt build new growth engines across international markets and consumer-tech categories.
As reported by PTI, boAt closed FY26 with approximately ₹397 crore of cash reserves and zero bank debt, providing a robust financial foundation for future growth initiatives. CEO Gaurav Nayyar emphasized that the company is transitioning from a turnaround phase to growth mode, stating that with a stronger balance sheet and tighter operating discipline, they are preparing for 'boAt 2.0' to expand their audio leadership while building growth engines across international markets and new categories including projectors, grooming and charging solutions. The company, owned by Imagine Marketing Limited, is now focusing on taking their leadership in audio forward while building the next set of growth engines.
