According to the latest disclosure, the company stated that the USFDA had inspected the Raleigh plant in North Carolina, owned by Aurolife Pharma LLC, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma, from March 24 to April 10, 2025. The facility, which manufactures inhalers, dermatology and transdermal products, had received a Form 483 with 11 observations at the end of the inspection. The stock is a constituent of the Nifty Midcap 150 index and had opened higher before declining during the trading session. Aurobindo Pharma confirmed that there is no impact on the existing supplies to the US markets despite the regulatory action. As per Business Standard, the Unit has now received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR), classifying the facility as "Voluntary Action Indicated" (VAI).
