
According to reports from CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, Arvind Ltd's board has approved a proposal to raise up to ₹600 crore through the issuance of equity shares or other eligible securities via one or more permissible modes. The textile and apparel manufacturer announced this development in an exchange filing on Friday, July 3, 2026. The proposed fundraising will be for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹600 crore and may be carried out in one or more tranches, subject to shareholder approval and receipt of the necessary regulatory and statutory clearances.
As reported by CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the board approved raising funds through multiple securities including equity shares with face value of ₹10 each, convertible or redeemable preference shares, fully or partly convertible debentures, non-convertible debentures with warrants, Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), American Depository Receipts (ADRs), Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), or any other eligible securities, either individually or in combination. The Finance Committee of the board has been authorised to determine the timing, pricing, terms and other conditions of the proposed issue. The company may also utilize preferential allotment or a combination of permissible modes alongside QIPs, with specific pricing and structure to be finalized based on market conditions and applicable regulatory guidelines.
According to the exchange filing reported by CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, alongside the fundraising proposal, the board also approved initiating a postal ballot process to seek shareholders' approval for the resolutions related to the capital raise. The draft postal ballot notice and matters incidental to the process were also approved. This ensures proper governance and stakeholder involvement in the fundraising decision, with the capital raise to be conducted in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, and the Companies Act, 2013.
