Artefact Projects has secured a ₹3.08 crore contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for Supervision Consultant services during the operation and maintenance phase of the four-lane Bilaspur-Urga section of NH-130A. According to reports from Business Standard, the project spans from design chainage 0.000 to 70.200 km covering the stretch from NH-49 near Dheka village to Bhiasma village in Chhattisgarh. The contract execution period is set at 38 months, with the project to be executed in association with KCS Engineering. The company clarified that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor members of the promoter group have any interest in the contract award.
On a standalone basis, Artefact Projects' financial performance showed mixed results in Q4 FY26. As reported by Business Standard, the company's net profit declined 85.17% to ₹0.86 crore in the quarter compared to ₹5.80 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, revenue from operations increased 12.48% year-on-year to ₹14.33 crore during the quarter, indicating improved operational performance despite profitability challenges. The company provides engineering, architectural, and project management services for infrastructure projects, especially highways, with a global presence through collaboration with international consultants.
Following the contract announcement, Artefact Projects shares responded positively to the development. According to Business Standard, shares of Artefact Projects added 0.76% to ₹56.70 on the BSE, reflecting investor optimism about the new contract win.
