According to reports from Business Standard, ARC Finance reported a standalone net loss of ₹0.01 crore in the quarter ended December 2025, marking a significant shift from the net profit of ₹0.34 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This represents a complete reversal in the company's profitability trajectory during the December quarter. The latest Q2 FY26 results show continued volatility with net profit of ₹0.12 crores for July-September 2025, declining 7.69% sequentially from ₹0.13 crores in Q1 FY26, while year-on-year performance collapsed by 96.45% from ₹3.38 crores in Q2 FY25.
Despite the net loss, ARC Finance demonstrated strong revenue growth with sales rising 14.89% to ₹0.54 crore in Q3 FY26 compared to ₹0.47 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. As reported by Business Standard, this revenue expansion indicates the company's ability to generate higher turnover even while facing profitability challenges. The Q2 FY26 results show even more dramatic growth with net sales surging 246.67% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1.04 crores from ₹0.30 crores in Q1 FY26, though this remains 40.54% higher year-on-year compared to ₹0.74 crores in Q2 FY25.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) declined to 12.96% in Q3 FY26 from 34.89% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, according to the financial data reported by Business Standard. Additionally, PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) fell 96% to ₹0.06 crore from ₹1.40 crore year-on-year, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) dropped 99% to ₹0.01 crore from ₹1.35 crore in Q3 FY25. The Q2 FY26 results reveal similar margin compression with profit after tax margin compressed to 11.54% from 43.33% in the preceding quarter, indicating deteriorating operational efficiency and cost management challenges.
ARC Finance's stock performance has been severely impacted, declining 48.89% over the past year compared to the Sensex's 9.01% gain, resulting in negative alpha of 57.90 percentage points. The company trades at a minuscule market capitalisation of ₹60 crores with shares priced at ₹0.69, significantly underperforming the NBFC sector's 23.56% gain by 72.45 percentage points. The shareholding structure reveals concerning governance issues with promoter holding at just 6.97% and zero institutional holdings, indicating minimal institutional confidence in the company's prospects. The stock's technical trend remains mildly bearish with multiple indicators signalling weakness across weekly and monthly timeframes.
ARC Finance's performance significantly lags behind NBFC peers with ROE of 2.52% compared to competitors like Caspian Corporate (19.00%), Everlon Finance (16.16%), and Real Touch Finance (6.20%). The company's price-to-book value ratio of 0.61x represents a 39% discount to book value, while the stock trades at a Mojo Score of 17/100 in the "Strong Sell" category. With negative operating cash flow of ₹40 crores in FY25 and minimal institutional participation, the outlook remains challenging given the confluence of weak fundamentals, poor governance indicators, and negative market sentiment. The company's debt-to-equity ratio of 0.15 suggests conservative leverage, but this conservative capital structure has not translated into superior returns, raising questions about management's capital allocation decisions.
