
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd (ASPHL) announced on Monday, April 20, the signing of two hotel management agreements for Zone Connect by The Park properties in Ayodhya and Ujjain. According to reports from CNBC TV18, these dual signings are part of the company's growth strategy focused on strengthening its presence across pilgrimage circuits, catering to travellers seeking design-led hospitality in culturally significant locations.
The Ayodhya property will feature 56 rooms and will be located near Ram Janmabhoomi, approximately 4.9 km away, and Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, around 6 km away. As reported by CNBC TV18, the Ujjain property will offer 64 rooms and will be situated approximately 7 km from Ujjain Railway Station and 8 km from Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, with access to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport. Both properties will include Café C as an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop restaurants, plunge swimming pools, gym facilities, and banquet halls for social gatherings.
Vikas Ahluwalia, AVP & National Head – Zone by The Park Hotels, stated that the company is delighted to expand its footprint in Ayodhya and Ujjain, marking an important step in strengthening their presence in the pilgrimage tourism segment. Jyoti Saran Agarwal, Partner at Shubh Aagman Hotels LLP, emphasized their shared vision of delivering quality hospitality in Ujjain.
Shares of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd ended at ₹120.02, down by ₹2.05, or 1.68%, on the BSE on April 20, as reported by CNBC TV18. With these additions, ASPHL expands its presence in two of India's major pilgrimage destinations through the Zone Connect by The Park brand, strengthening its grip on the pilgrimage market segment.
