
Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd. reported a significant decline in profitability for the January-March quarter of fiscal 2025-26. According to the company's Q4FY26 results announcement, net profit dropped 48% to ₹41 crore compared to ₹78 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The Mumbai-headquartered Indian-made foreign liquor company, which owns the flagship Officer's Choice whiskey brand, also experienced a revenue decline of 1.4% to ₹1,007 crore from ₹921 crore in the year-ago period. However, the company showed improvement in operational efficiency with EBITDA rising 24% to ₹169 crore compared to ₹136 crore in the same period last year.
For the full financial year FY26, Allied Blenders demonstrated strong growth momentum with net profit rising 17.17% to ₹228.32 crore compared to ₹194.86 crore in the previous year. The company's revenue from operations grew 11.45% to ₹3,922.78 crore in FY26 versus ₹3,519.88 crore in FY25. The company's prestige & above (P&A) portfolio continued to show healthy growth with volumes rising 1.3% YoY to 9.0 million cases, supported by a 16.9% increase in the P&A segment. The company also expanded its international footprint to 31 countries during the quarter, compared with 23 countries in FY25, and is targeting presence in 35 countries by March 2026.
Despite the challenging financial performance, Allied Blenders maintained its commitment to shareholders by declaring a dividend of ₹5.4 per equity share for the quarter. According to the company's announcement, this dividend declaration demonstrates the board's confidence in the company's long-term prospects despite the current quarter's profit decline. The company has also announced a strategic realignment of its senior finance leadership, with Jayant Manmadkar transitioning to the newly created role of Group Finance Director effective February 2, 2026, while Ramakrishnan Ramaswamy returns as Chief Financial Officer effective the same date. The company has also approved fundraising of up to ₹1,000 crore through various instruments subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
