According to latest reports, Aegis Vopak Terminals experienced a 6.9% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹66.1 crore in the quarter ended June 2026, compared to ₹71 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The profit decline was attributed to near-term import disruptions caused by geopolitical issues, including shipping bottlenecks in the Strait of Hormuz that disrupted LPG import flows early in the quarter. Despite these operational headwinds, the company demonstrated strong revenue performance with sales rising 12.39% to ₹233.77 crore in Q1 FY2026, up from ₹207.99 crore in Q1 FY2025.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 76.75% in the June 2026 quarter compared to 74.65% in the same period last year. PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) increased 6% to ₹144.45 crore from ₹136.45 crore year-on-year, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) declined 6% to ₹88.98 crore from ₹94.68 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter. The operational performance was momentarily impacted by geopolitical issues causing shipping bottlenecks, which disrupted LPG import flows and affected throughput volumes.
According to latest reports, Aegis Vopak Terminals is progressing with its massive clean-energy terminal expansions on both the east and west coasts of India following its successful ₹2,800 crore IPO in June 2025. The company's full-year FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹923.1 crore represented a 17% growth over the previous year, while full-year FY26 net profit rose to ₹341.9 crore, marking a 52.1% increase year-on-year. The company's promoter groups maintain an 86.93% stake post-IPO, providing healthy funding structures for planned capital expenditure. The newly acquired Hindustan Aegis LPG terminal in Haldia positions the company to aggressively scale up its East-coast footprint.
Long-term structural growth triggers remain active as Phase-1 of the liquid expansion at JNPA is expected to come online in H1 FY27, adding revenue streams from Q2 onwards. The company holds a critical position handling approximately 23% of the country's liquid imports and 61% of total LPG imports, operating under high entry barriers in India's third-party liquid and gas storage industry. The commissioning of the JNPA Phase-1 liquid terminal and Pipavav ammonia terminal scheduled for H1 FY27 will scale up third-party storage volumes significantly from Q2 onwards, driving the next phase of earnings growth. The company recommended a final dividend of ₹0.20 per share for FY26 with a record date of July 10, 2026, and scheduled its 13th AGM for August 7, 2026.
