
Shares of Advait Energy Transitions Ltd gained nearly 2% in intraday trade on Friday following the company's latest order announcement. According to reports from Essential Business Intelligence, the stock was trading at ₹2,228 apiece on the NSE around 3 p.m., gaining 35.4 points from its previous close of ₹2,192.6. The stock has been in focus since the beginning of 2026, gaining over 60% during the period while the benchmark index Nifty 50 lost 7.4%.
In a significant development, Advait Energy Transitions has secured four underground cable network contracts worth ₹250.58 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (PGVCL). As reported by Essential Business Intelligence, each contract is expected to be completed within 18 months from the respective date of award. The latest contract involves conversion of existing 11 kV HT & LT Line network into underground cable network at Adhewada, with services including site survey, designing, engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning. The company clarified that neither its promoter nor promoter group has any interest in PGVCL, and the contracts do not qualify as related party transactions.
The comprehensive order portfolio includes four major projects across Gujarat's power distribution network. According to Essential Business Intelligence, the contracts are domestic projects covering Bhavnagar, Porbandar and Kutch districts. The Bhavnagar project is valued at ₹58.25 crore for the Adhewada Subdivision, while three additional contracts are worth ₹75.56 crore for Udyognagar in Porbandar Circle, ₹64.20 crore for Mandvi-city in Bhuj Circle, and ₹52.57 crore for Ranavav Subdivision in Porbandar Circle. All projects include end-to-end execution covering engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, testing and commissioning.
According to reports from Essential Business Intelligence, Advait Energy Transitions reported an order book of ₹1,304 crore as on June 30, reflecting a 159% year-on-year growth. The order book was already at an all-time high at the end of June 2026, and these latest contracts further strengthen the same, indicating solid revenue visibility for the upcoming quarters. The company's market capitalization stood at ₹2,399.8 crore at the close of the previous trading session.
