
A promoter group entity of Adani Green Energy completed a significant stake sale on Tuesday, offloading 2,15,00,000 shares representing a 1.3% stake in the company. According to block deal data on the NSE, Ardour Investment Holding Ltd, a promoter entity, executed this transaction through open market transactions at an average price of ₹1,510 per share. The total transaction value reached ₹3,246.50 crore.
The stake sale involved Ardour Investment Holding Ltd, which previously held a 6.35% equity stake in Adani Green Energy as of the end of the March quarter. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, Adani Infra (India) Ltd acquired the same number of shares in the corresponding transaction. The block deal data from the NSE confirmed the complete transfer of ownership from the promoter entity to the acquiring company.
Following the announcement of the stake transaction, shares of Adani Green Energy demonstrated positive market sentiment. According to The Hindu BusinessLine, shares rose nearly 3% to close at ₹1,532 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The market response suggests investor confidence in the strategic nature of the stake transfer between group companies.
