
HDFC Bank invested ₹1,316.18 crore in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives during 2025-26, representing an increase of over ₹248 crore compared to the previous fiscal year. The cumulative investment under the umbrella program now stands at approximately ₹7,492 crore, with CSR initiatives spanning across all 28 States and eight Union Territories of India. Through an integrated approach spanning water stewardship, agriculture, livelihoods, education, healthcare, sanitation and community infrastructure, the programme continues to improve quality of life while strengthening rural ecosystems.
The bank's flagship Holistic Rural Development Programme (HRDP) has significantly expanded its reach, covering more than 11,000 villages across the country, up from over 10,430 villages a year earlier.
