Mphasis Ltd. has launched an enterprise AI platform called 'Mphasis Tria', designed to help companies move from AI experimentation to large-scale business decision-making and execution. According to reports from Essential Business Intelligence, Business Standard, and Capital Market News, the platform is positioned to move enterprises beyond pilot AI projects by enabling coordinated decision-making, workflow automation and AI-driven execution across large-scale operations. CEO Nitin Rakesh emphasized that the platform introduces a new category of enterprise transformation, moving beyond autonomous AI systems into governed Enterprise Agency. As reported by Capital Market News, the platform connects enterprise knowledge, causal reasoning, and agentic execution to deliver Agency Applied, transforming enterprise intelligence into governed, accountable, and outcome-oriented actions at scale. The company has invested nearly 1.5% of FY26 revenue in building the platform and related capabilities, as reported by The Economic Times.
The platform operates through a three-layer architecture built on Mphasis' existing proprietary tools, including its NeoIP suite. The architecture includes an 'Insight' layer that structures enterprise data, processes and operational context into a centralized knowledge framework using Mphasis Ontosphere and NeoIP. The 'Foresight' layer utilizes AI reasoning and simulation capabilities through Continuum AI, the decision intelligence platform acquired through Mphasis' acquisition of Theory and Practice. The 'Execute' layer focuses on workflow orchestration, automation and governance using agentic AI systems. According to The Economic Times, this architecture enables the platform to connect enterprise knowledge, causal reasoning, and agentic execution to deliver measurable business outcomes across operations, technology, and commercial functions. The platform combines Mphasis' Ontosphere and NeoIP assets with Continuum AI to deliver comprehensive AI capabilities.
Alongside Tria, Mphasis introduced two new product lines - 'Mphasis Modernize' and 'Mphasis Optimize' - through which the platform will be deployed in enterprise transformation projects. According to reports from Essential Business Intelligence, Business Standard, and Capital Market News, these product lines will enable the platform's deployment across various enterprise transformation initiatives, expanding the scope of AI implementation beyond individual projects. As reported by The Economic Times, the company is not positioning itself as a software vendor but as a services-led transformation partner using reusable AI platforms to drive measurable business outcomes. Srikumar Ramanathan, chief solutions officer at Mphasis, noted that most enterprises lack the ability to turn intelligence into coordinated, accountable action that drives measurable business outcomes, emphasizing the platform's focus on outcome-based commercial models. CEO Nitin Rakesh explained that through Mphasis Tria, the company is introducing a new category of enterprise transformation, reflecting the belief that enterprises do not simply need more AI models or automation, but the ability to convert intelligence into coordinated, accountable action.
The platform is currently being piloted with existing Fortune 50 clients across multiple areas including payment operations, demand forecasting, pricing optimization and business process modernization, as reported by The Economic Times. Mphasis executives indicated that the platform could gradually alter the shape of its revenue mix over the next few years, with a greater share of implementation-led, managed outcome and gain-sharing engagements. The company also expects the platform to help improve margin profiles in certain managed services and operations engagements by combining AI agents, workflow orchestration and human oversight. This strategic shift positions Mphasis to capitalize on the transformation of traditional IT services toward outcome-based, AI-driven solutions.
