
Quantum-safe cybersecurity startup QNu Labs has successfully raised ₹200 crore in its Series A1 round, marking a significant milestone for the company's global expansion plans. According to reports from Business Standard, the funding round was led by the National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest, with participation from Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital, and Artha Ventures. This latest investment brings the company's total capital raised to ₹375 crore, positioning it well for its next phase of growth amidst growing quantum infrastructure demands. Notably, approximately 80% of this round came from new investors globally, signaling strong international confidence in quantum-safe security solutions.
The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate research and development, deepen QNu Labs' technology leadership, and scale sales and go-to-market capabilities across India and global markets. As reported by Business Standard, a portion of this funding will be used as QNu's contribution towards the approved project funded under RDI to build the Technology backbone of India's Quantum Secure and Sensing Networks (IQSN). The investment will enable the company to further extend its quantum-safe technology stack by expanding into quantum sensing and AI, stretching deployments across critical sectors as governments and enterprises worldwide prepare for the transition to quantum-safe infrastructure. With a decade-long head start in the space, QNu Labs is now positioned to move from pioneering the technology to scaling its adoption globally as enterprises prepare for one of the largest cybersecurity transitions ahead.

Sunil Gupta, Co-founder of QNu Labs, emphasized the strategic importance of this funding for India's technological sovereignty.
